Olin Corporation is a vertically integrated global manufacturer and distributor of chemical products and a U.S. manufacturer of ammunition. It reports three segments.
- **Chlor Alkali Products and Vinyls:** chlorine and caustic soda, vinyls including vinyl chloride monomer and ethylene dichloride, chlorinated organics, bleach, hydrogen and hydrochloric acid.
- **Epoxy:** epoxy materials, with benzene and propylene as key raw materials.
- **Winchester:** sporting and law enforcement ammunition, reloading components, small caliber military ammunition and components, industrial cartridges and clay targets. It also earns contracted U.S. military project revenue, including through the Lake City U.S. Army Ammunition Plant contract.
Olin runs an operating model that prioritizes Electrochemical Unit (ECU) margins over sales volumes. It is pursuing structural cost savings under its Beyond250 program.
The company is party to a definitive all-stock merger-of-equals agreement with Huntsman Corporation, announced June 16, 2026, to form OlinHuntsman Corporation. The deal is expected to close in the first quarter of 2027. Updated
