If You Invest $15,000 Into These 3 Stocks, You Could Have $30,000 In 2030

A $15,000 bet split across three Nasdaq giants could look very different by 2030 depending on which of them ends up dragging the whole portfolio down.

Splitting $15,000 evenly across three Nasdaq-listed technology heavyweights (NVIDIA (NASDAQ:NVDA | NVDA Price Prediction), AMD (NASDAQ:AMD), and Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL)) puts $5,000 into each name at current prices of $224.92, $614, and $336.73.

Because 2030 sits between the engine’s modeled 1-year and 5-year horizons, the concrete numbers below are anchored to the 5-year projection (with 2030 checkpoints shown as illustrative waypoints along that path).

Headline Answer: Base Case Comfortably Clears $30,000

Using the 5-year base-case projections for all three stocks, the $15,000 stake would be worth roughly $45,354 at horizon, comprising $32,974 from NVIDIA, $4,082 from AMD, and $8,299 from Apple.

The bull case lifts the portfolio to about $46,851, while the bear case falls to $23,256. All three models carry a 0.9 confidence rating.

NVIDIA: The Compute Engine Behind the $30,000 Target

NVIDIA’s 5-year model anchors to a base-case final price of $1,513.43, with a bull case at $1,423.47 and a bear case at $666.43. Illustrative 2030 checkpoints show the base path near $1,369.07 by year-end.

The bullish thrust ties to CFO Colette Kress guiding NVIDIA to “grow revenue by approximately 70% in fiscal 2028” and hyperscaler capex projected to reach $1.3 trillion in 2027. Analyst sentiment is 95% bullish.

Scenario 5-Year Target Total Return Ending Value of $5,000
Bull $1,423.47 520.28% $31,014
Base $1,513.43 559.48% $32,974
Bear $666.43 190.4% $14,520

AMD: A More Muted Five-Year Model Despite a Strong Story

AMD is the tempering leg of this portfolio. The stock has risen 284.25% over the past year and just crossed the $1 trillion market cap threshold, which pushes the current price ahead of the model’s base target.

On the 5-year horizon, the base case sits at $495.61, below today’s level. CEO Lisa Su still frames the runway aggressively, projecting the data center AI accelerator market to grow “more than 45% annually to approximately $1.4 trillion by 2030”, but the model’s hold recommendation reflects a stretched implied P/E of 105.

Scenario 5-Year Target Total Return Ending Value of $5,000
Bull $716.80 18.06% $5,903
Base $495.61 -18.37% $4,082
Bear $357.96 -41.04% $2,948

Apple: Steady Compounder With Siri AI as the Wild Card

Apple’s model calibrates to a 5-year base price of $563.90, with an illustrative 2030 year-end waypoint of $542.54.

The near-term catalyst is the redesigned Siri AI, which CEO Tim Cook called “profoundly capable, deeply personal, and integrated seamlessly across our platforms”.

Services set a June-quarter record at $30.7 billion, and paid subscriptions surpassed 1.5 billion. The 2027 fiscal-year consensus revenue estimate is $527,971,929,389. Recommendation is buy.

Scenario 5-Year Target Total Return Ending Value of $5,000
Bull $675.00 98.68% $9,934
Base $563.90 65.98% $8,299
Bear $393.27 15.75% $5,787.50

Why the Base Case Could Bend Either Way

Three drivers matter most. First, hyperscaler AI capex. OpenAI alone has committed to NVIDIA infrastructure representing approximately 12 gigawatts of NVIDIA compute through 2030 (we profiled seven companies quietly powering that buildout, from electricity to cooling, in a free AI infrastructure report).

Second, competitive share. Anthropic plans to deploy up to 2GW MI450 capacity through AMD’s Helios platform.

Third, on-device AI. Apple’s hybrid compute strategy positions its silicon to monetize Siri AI both directly and through iCloud+ upgrades.

Risks That Could Sink the Projection

The bear cases reflect real risks. NVIDIA’s supply chain is “challenged”, memory pricing is running hot, and the company reported no China data center compute revenue in its forward outlook.

AMD faces US export controls and its gaming segment fell 31% year over year.

Apple flagged Q3 supply constraints across iPhone, Mac, and iPad tied to advanced-node components. A broader AI capex slowdown, a recession, or heightened chip-tariff friction could compress every scenario. This is a projection, not investment advice.

Bottom Line on the $15,000 Question

Across scenarios, a $15,000 stake split evenly among NVIDIA, AMD, and Apple projects to a 5-year value between roughly $23,256 (bear) and $46,851 (bull), with a base case near $45,354.

The doubling implied by the headline is inside the modeled base and bull ranges, driven overwhelmingly by NVIDIA’s 5-year trajectory. These are scenario outputs.
