Super Micro Computer opened up 13.4%, the biggest move across a 387-name priority list, with Dell, Vertiv and Bloom Energy also clearing 5%. Netflix and AT&T anchor the other end, each off roughly 4.8%.
Latest Activity
Dell lifted its quarterly payout 20% to $0.63 a share, a fourth straight year of raises since it started paying in 2022. The 0.64% yield stays thin with the stock at $461, so the appeal is dividend growth. Buyers need shares before today's ex-date.
The downside is doing the damage at Wednesday's open: Applied Optoelectronics is off 10.13%, with Dell and SanDisk each shedding roughly 9%. The best gainer, Intuit at 5.07%, does not come close to matching it.
Every one of today's five worst performers in a 383-name universe lost double digits, led by CoreWeave's 15.42% drop. The best gain on the other side was capped at 4.62%, so the downside is moving far faster than the upside.

- Four years from the Oct 12, 2022 bottom: $10,000 in the S&P became $23,061, in Nvidia $197,505
- Cramer traced the Mag 7's birth to the 2023 banking crisis, when balance sheets beat credit needs
- Hardware leadership is fading as enterprise software roars back since the summer hedge fund unwind
- His rule: keep buying through rate scares, tariffs and war headlines
Trading the headlines failed: nothing from the banking crisis to the tariff shock derailed a $40 trillion move. The live call inside Cramer's anniversary scorecard is the rotation, with semis and disk drives losing their shine while software names regain leadership.

Mad Money w/ Jim Cramer 10/5/26
- Cramer flags a broken pattern: oil fell while the 30-year yield climbed to 5.66%, near 6%
- Nasdaq's record close carried by Microsoft on Copilot, Meta's small-business ad shift, and Nvidia's all-time high
- Saudis discounting crude $5 below the Oman/Dubai benchmark is market share defense, not a fading war premium
- Caller questions on Intuitive Surgical as a broken stock, plus KLA, Domino's and SoFi
Cramer's warning: strip out Microsoft, Nvidia and Meta and the safety names were hit, meaning three stocks are carrying the index. He says the bond market tells the truth longer term, and the 30-year at 5.66% caps any broad rally. Owning the hyperscalers has been the only trade that worked.
Chips and hardware took the top five slots at Thursday's close, led by ON Semiconductor's 5.52% gain, while every big decliner but one was a cybersecurity name. Zscaler's 9.88% drop to $193.43 was the worst in the group.
- DELLDell Technologies$568.06+9.9%
- HPEHewlett Packard Enterprise$60.76+3.8%
- CVXChevron$209.51+1.9%
- NETCloudflare$323.6+0.9%
- RBRKRubrik$106.71+0.8%
Five names printed fresh 52-week highs this week, and Dell cleared its prior peak by 9.93%, the widest margin of the group. Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Chevron, Cloudflare and Rubrik rounded out the list with narrower breakouts.
Same $10,000 into the two AI-server names on January 2: Dell is worth $46,396 today, Super Micro just $13,212. A 4.6x versus 1.3x gap inside the same end market.
