Nvidia Price Prediction: Wall Street and Our Model Finally Agree
For the first time, our proprietary valuation model and Wall Street analysts are pointing at the same stock and the same direction, but the reasons behind that rare consensus reveal something bigger brewing inside Nvidia's next hardware cycle.
Our proprietary valuation model has converged with Wall Street analyst consensus on NVIDIA (NASDAQ: NVDA | NVDA Price Prediction). After upward revisions following the Vera Rubin ramp, our 24/7 Wall St. price target sits within striking distance of the sell-side consensus, and both point to meaningful upside from current levels.
Our 24/7 Wall St. price target for NVIDIA is $310.20 over the next 12 months, versus a current quote of $227.50. That implies 39.56% upside with a buy rating at 90% model confidence. The Wall Street consensus target of $327.70 sits modestly higher.

Vera Rubin Puts Nvidia Back in Front
NVDA has climbed 4.22% in the past week and 22.27% year to date.
Q2 FY2027 (reported August 26, 2026) delivered non-GAAP EPS of $2.22 versus $2.0887 estimate on revenue of $96.22 billion, up 105.85% year over year. Data Center revenue reached $89.02 billion, up 117%. Q3 guidance calls for revenue of $108 billion, plus or minus 2%.
Why Bulls See a Breakout Ahead
CEO Jensen Huang said management expects fiscal 2028 revenue to grow by approximately 70%, framed as supply constrained. Revenue opportunity per gigawatt rises from roughly $18 billion on Hopper to $25 billion on Blackwell to $40 billion on Vera Rubin.
Cloud industry backlog exceeds $2 trillion, with top-five hyperscaler capex tracking to nearly $800 billion in 2026 and $1.3 trillion in 2027. Fiscal 2028 EPS consensus has been revised from $12.8206 30 days ago to $15.6826, with 42 upward revisions and zero downward. In our bull case, NVDA reaches $353.54.
What Could Go Wrong
Q3 guidance excludes China Data Center compute revenue. Supply commitments have ballooned to $279 billion, largely for Vera Rubin memory. Gross margins are expected to bottom in Q4 in the 71% to 72% range as memory costs rise.
Nvidia has disclosed $108.5 billion of guarantee obligations tied to AI cloud partners. Management argues NVIDIA compute is fungible and can be redeployed if a customer stumbles, and the margin dip is mix-driven while the business scales. Our bear case still assumes NVDA reaches $261.39, up from today.
How Nvidia Compares to AMD and Broadcom
Advanced Micro Devices (NASDAQ: AMD) is the most direct AI GPU competitor, with Data Center revenue of $6.72 billion in Q2 2026, up 107%. AMD trades at a trailing P/E near 211, while NVDA’s trailing P/E of 28 looks restrained given its scale and margin profile.
Broadcom (NASDAQ: AVGO) is the closest AI networking and custom ASIC peer. Q3 FY2026 AI semiconductor revenue reached $16.70 billion, up 221%, with Q4 guided to $21.70 billion. AVGO’s forward P/E of 25 and PEG of 0.472 support our $310.20 target as reasonable.
Setup Into Year-End
Current levels sit well below our 24/7 Wall St. price target of $310.20, and pullbacks into the $200s have historically tracked China headlines.
Key risks to the thesis would be fiscal 2028 revisions reversing or Q4 gross margins slipping below management’s 71% to 72% floor. Wall Street and our model are aligned on the setup.
Our model projects NVDA could trade at these levels, assuming current growth trajectories and Vera Rubin ramp cadence hold.
