Top 6 Earnings to Look for This Coming Week

24/7 Wall St. has put together a preview of some of the major companies reporting their quarterly results this week. We are currently in between earnings seasons, but there are still a few major companies reporting in the meantime. We have included the consensus earnings estimates from Thomson Reuters and the stock price and trading history, as well as added some additional color on each.

Be advised that the earnings and revenue estimates may change ahead of the formal reports, and some companies may change reporting dates as well.

Carnival Corp. (NYSE: CCL) will share its most recent quarterly results on Monday. The consensus estimates call for earnings per share (EPS) of $2.12 and $837.65 million in revenue. Shares traded at $47.26 on the close on Friday, in a 52-week trading range of $40.52 to $55.77.

Nike Inc. (NYSE: NKE) is scheduled to reveal its fiscal first-quarter results on Tuesday. The consensus estimates call for $0.56 in EPS, as well as $8.88 billion in revenue. Shares were trading at $55.15 on Friday’s close. The consensus price target is $65.59. The stock has a 52-week range of $51.48 to $68.19.

BlackBerry Ltd. (NASDAQ: BBRY) is set to report its fiscal second-quarter results on Wednesday. The analysts’ consensus estimates are a net loss of $0.05 per share and $393.75 million in revenue. Shares were changing hands at $7.91 on Friday’s close. The consensus price target is $7.42, and the 52-week range is $5.96 to $9.46.

Pier 1 Imports Inc. (NYSE: PIR) is expected to report its fiscal second-quarter results on Wednesday as well. The consensus analyst estimates are a net loss of $0.05 per share and revenue of $406.96 million. Shares of Pier 1 closed at $4.36 on Friday. The consensus price target is $4.45. The 52-week range is $3.73 to $8.23.

Costco Wholesale Corp. (NASDAQ: COST) is set to share its latest quarterly earnings on Thursday. The consensus estimates call for $1.73 in EPS and $36.95 billion in revenue. Shares were at $152.53 on Friday’s close, in a 52-week trading range of $138.57 to $169.73. The consensus price target is $171.05.

PepsiCo Inc. (NYSE: PEP) is expected to report its first-quarter results on Thursday. The analysts’ consensus estimates call for EPS of $1.31 and $15.82 billion in revenue. Shares were changing hands at $107.34 as last week came to a close. The consensus price target is $117.60, and the stock has a 52-week range of $92.20 to $110.94.
