GameStop Corp. (NYSE: GME) had massive sales on Black Friday and then extended some key sales over the weekend. Now it is offering on top of its door-buster deals online for many of its video games, gaming consoles and the endless accessories and electronics on the cheap for Cyber Monday. In fact, GameStop went so far as to name this Cyber Week!
GameStop’s actual Black Friday deals brochure was a full 12-pages long, so covering all of its deals was next to impossible. Either way, the likes of Microsoft Corp. (NASDAQ: MSFT) and Sony Corp. (NYSE: SNE) were offering massive savings on consoles and accessories.
Microsoft’s Xbox One was listed as the last day to save, with Xbox One bundles starting at $299.99 for savings of $50.00 and more. The Xbox Elite Controller with Halo 5: Guardians was $209.98 in limited quantities.
Sony’s PS4 was listed on sale, along with a $25 savings off the PS Plus one-year membership. The PS4 Call of Duty Black Ops III Limited Edition PS4 1TB bundle is $429.99 in limited quantities.
Some of the real savings are in video game titles. Batman Arkham Knight was 60% off at $19.99. Trade-ins are getting $10 off on many gaming titles. Major sales were also shown for vintage games and for trade-ins.
Take-Two Interactive Software Inc. (NASDAQ: TTWO) is offering up Grand Theft Auto 5 for $19.99, down $40 from its usual list price.
Electronic Arts Inc. (NASDAQ: EA) is offering $20 off its FIFA 16 (soccer) title, $20 off on the NBA 2K16 title. Activision Blizzard Inc. (NASDAQ: ATVI) is offering World of Warcraft at only $4.99, down from the usual price of $19.99.
GameStop is offering up 30% savings on its ThinkGeek collectibles. This includes items for Star Wars and many action figure games.
GoPro Inc. (NASDAQ: GPRO) has its GoPro Hero + LCD camera for sale at $299.99, and the GoPro HERO4 Silver Edition is $399.99, but both are now coming with a $50 GameStop Digital Gift Card. Is that $50 off? GoPro also has more competition on the lower-end of the price points, with the ACTIVEON CX HD Action Camera black model is being offered for $99.99 after being normally priced at $149.99.
The list of savings for GameStop seems to just go on and on.
