Who Are The 67 Million People Who Visit Apple's Website?

Comscore reports that Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL) had 66.7 million unique visitors to its website in February. That is more than The New York Times (NYSE: NYT) digital properties or eBay (NASDAQ: EBAY)

It is hard to account for the figure until the sub-domains are examined. Very few people go to Apple.com. Huge numbers visit:

http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/

which has served over 12 billion song downloads since 2001 and

http://www.apple.com/iphone/apps-for-iphone/

which has had over 3 billion app downloads over that last three years for iPhones and iPods

The number of all other visits is tiny
