New York Lottery Issues Wanted Poster for Missing Winner

The New York Lottery has proved that it will go to great lengths to give away money, at least to winners. The organization has issued a “wanted poster” for a missing winner.

According the New York Lottery website:

Winner Has Only Four Days Left to Claim Jackpot Prize

Fliers Distributed in Brooklyn Neighborhood Where Lucky Ticket Was Sold

It’s claim it or lose it time for someone out there who is sitting on a $7,000,000 New York Lottery prize, and the Lottery is pulling out all the stops to try to find this “missing millionaire.”

A lucky Lottery player purchased the jackpot-winning ticket for the July 24, 2014 Cash4Life drawing at Milky Way Deli at 1669 Ralph Avenue in Brooklyn. Prizes can be claimed up to a year after the drawing, which means the winner has only four days left to collect the jackpot Lottery prize.

Today the Lottery started canvassing the Brooklyn neighborhood around the Milky Way Deli with ‘Have You Seen Me?’ and ‘Is This You?’ fliers (attached) to try to find the winner of this lucky ticket (see attached pictures).

“We’re making one last effort to find the winner of this $7,000,000 jackpot prize, but there are only four days left to claim it,” said Gardner Gurney, Acting Director of the Division of the Lottery. “We are urging players to check and double-check their tickets one last time before it is too late.”

The winning ticket matched all six numbers from the July 24, 2014 Cash4Life drawing: 05 – 20 – 35 – 43 – 48 and the Cash Ball number 03.

Brooklyn has a population of 2.6 million, which makes it the most populous borough of New York City, and covers 96 square miles.

Good luck.
